2026 NIOA Training Schedule:
June NIOA Meeting – 2nd Annual Clay Shoot. Come join us for the second annual clay shoot at the St. Joe Valley Conservation Club, 5871 Co Rd 60, St. Joe IN 46785, on June 23rd. We will start off at 10am with an hour of training followed by lunch and the clay shoot. Ford Meter is providing the ammo and the cost per participant is only $10. If you are interested in participating, please sign up no later than June 16! We are also seeking sponsorships to help the NIOA continue to provide quality training to water and wastewater operators in more than twelve counties in northeast and north central Indiana.

CEU’s are included with your membership. CEU Membership is $25/year. Non-CEU membership is still only $10/year. Non-member CEU rate is $5/CEU. The NIOA not only offers wastewater CEU’s but drinking water ones as well. At each meeting we intend to offer 2 technical CEU’s. Membership dues need to be paid before receiving any CEU's.

If your employer needs an itemized invoice to pay for the 2026 dues, please complete the membership form and return it to John Magsam requesting an invoice Please note that Jones & Henry has a new address! Participants can earn up to 12.5 contact hours through a variety of educational sessions, including technical tracks for operators and specialized classes for utility managers, board members, and administrative personnel. In addition to the training opportunities, the event features interactive discussions, networking events, educational tours, and a chance to win exciting prizes.

- IWEA Municipal Pretreatment & Industrial Committee Roundtable Discussion. June 11th, Noon – 4. Topics include: Enforcement, Local Limits, Sampling, PFAs, FOG, Hauled Waste and more. Attendees can earn 3 Drinking Water and/or Wastewater CEUs or 3 Engineering PDHs.
- IWEA Residuals & Resource Recovery Committee Tour of the Indianapolis Belmont WWTP. June 16th, 8 – 11a. Explore recent upgrades, including sludge incinerators and pollution control systems, and hear firsthand about the design, construction, and operational challenges behind them. Attendees can also earn up to 3.0 Drinking Water or Wastewater CEUs or 3.0 Engineering PDHs (approval pending).
