2025 NIOA Training Schedule:
October Training – Joint Meeting with the Northwest Indiana Operator’s Association. Date: Wednesday October 8th. We will start at the Knox WWTP, 310 Wythogan Park, Knox, Indiana 46534. Sign-in starts @ 11a (EST), tour begins at 11:30a (EST). Meeting and lunch begin around 11:30a (EST), presentation to follow (Pump Maintenance with Sean Hopper, Xylem). Meeting & lunch will be at the Knox Community Center, 55 East Lake Street, Knox, Indiana 46534. RSVP for lunch by the end of the day Monday October 6.
** Note that Knox is on CST, schedule times above are all EST **
CEU’s are included with your membership. CEU Membership is $25/year. Non CEU membership is still only $10/year. Non-member CEU rate is $5/CEU. The NIOA not only offers wastewater CEU’s but drinking water ones as well. At each meeting we intend to offer 2 technical CEU’s. Membership dues need to be paid before receiving any CEU's. Please fill out a membership form and return it and start experiencing the benefits today! If you have not renewed your NIOA Membership, the registration form can be found here. If your employer needs an itemized invoice to pay for the 2025 dues, please contact John Magsam.
Other Training Opportunities:
Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Fall Conference: October 21-23. The Alliance Fall Conference brings together professionals from across Indiana’s rural water and wastewater sector for a dynamic mix of education, networking, and collaboration. Designed to foster learning and professional growth, the conference offers a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for attendees across all areas of the industry.
Participants can earn up to 12.5 contact hours through a variety of educational sessions, including technical tracks for operators and specialized classes for utility managers, board members, and administrative personnel. In addition to the training opportunities, the event features interactive discussions, networking events, educational tours, and a chance to win exciting prizes.
